Without warning, the instrumant pack on mine just didn't work one day. No previous glitches at all. I have touted it around the various people who claim to repair them and they have all said it is too toasted to be salvageable. Photo shows the meltdown. Any suggestins for anywhere that may be able to recover it ? (Or, of course, a working used item that doesn't cost more than the car is worth ?) Thanks, Mike. |

Have you tried Simon in Somerset? Simon Mark Edwards on facebook or search Google for Somerset Technical Services He did one of mine a few weeks back, not quire as bad as yours but not far off. If it really is scrap, can I have it to see if I can do anything with it? |

Be careful putting in a secondhand unit, both the ECU and the cluster store the mileage, and it will revert to whichever is the higher | ||

Thanks for the advice and suggestions. Finally sorted by the often mentioned Simon in Somerset. Just goes to show the difference between a genuine specialist and the run of the mill electronics repairers, who all said it couldn't be done. Mike. |
