Hi folks Old member returning. I owned a 2.7 for four or five years. I’ve had a couple of old BMWs since but getting the itch for a 3.0 petrol C6. Did they ever make the 3.0l with cream leather? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one; they all seem to have black. I’m keeping my eyes on Autotrader etc. Thanks Chris |

My parents have a blue petrol C6 with cream interior (left hand drive; in Denmark), so they do exist. I think light interiors are the best | ||

Welcome back Chris. Cream interior was available on Exclusive versions & all engines. For the U.K., only 32 petrol C6 were registered new, so quite rare. |

Thanks everyone!! Great to be back and see some familiar names. I forgot about the tax on these cars - crazy!! I quite like the dual exhaust pipes on the diesel actually, and the economy makes it attractive. I've always liked the sound of a TD under load, but less keen on the idle - always thought a big petrol lump would suit the character of the car better, and I have been spoilt by some nice straight 6 BMW engines recently. Is the 3.0 diesel the 'last' revision of the car? I notice it has updated wing mirrors. Are there any other changes (I'm thinking particularly around the 'ball ache' joints and FRIP joints which my 2.7 ate like a child with Kinder Cheers Chris |
