Dear All

I have following symptoms
-error code 0493;
right engine cooling fan is not working
left engine colling fan works always at high speed

Did not start to dig into issue
- i will start to look into fuse;
- connect right fan directly to see if it run with direct energy supply;

I m also looking into electric diagram of colling system in case i need to dig more

Warm regards

Joao

If the solution is like the one in XM V6, one of the relays (2 of them) may be the problem.

I have P0495. Right fan has been broken for long time. Now left also stopped. Can I test these fans by just by putting 12V to pins? Relay is right hand from cooler?

I have 2.7 if it matters.

Yes, test with 12v at the fan pins but I find it easier to jump the relay.
Relays do fail and I have replaced both of them on a 2.7 in the past.

Yep, left side (from driver seat) of the cooling pack on top of chassis rail.
