Have you ever heard of "Jens Behn" one of the real C6-Specialists in Germany?

Maybe you should bring your car there instead of changing all these parts?

Have a real flushing of the gear box?

 I want to change these parts, they haven't told me to do so. I have wanted to change the glowplugs for a long time, because they haven't been changed in 14 years.

This Jens Behn seems good, but unfortunately, they are over 500 km away from me.

I hope you have found an excellent garage, with lots of experience with C6s!

Otherwise it's "Russian roulette"...

 So, it seems the problem is indeed with the gearbox, or more specifically, with the valve block above it. I have read that probably not the entire valve block must be changed, but only the "main solenoid valve", which is often the culprit. This should (hopefully) reduce the vibrations and make the gear switches much smoother.

Can someone tell me if this is correct and what part number this main solenoid is? Have you had similar problems with your gearbox?

Also, I was unable to find the exact model name of the gearbox for my 2007 2.7 HDI, in case I have to change the entire ***** gearbox and buy a second hand gearbox.

 Contact "icksemm" in the German ACC-Forum, he is doing overhauls of the valve block with new parts on a regular basis. He is "THE" Expert and has done lots...

After inspection, it must be possible to replace the mount without removing the axle from the gear box.
Removing the empty steel ring from it's case will be the hurdle.
On ebay are some amortiseurs that resemble the one that has to be replaced.

Hi Winus,
how are you getting on with replacing the engine mounts? I’m curious as I’m thinking of doing the same soon. I have look before and the rear is a bit of a puzzle to remove? I wonder would the engine need to be removed?
