Confirming front suspension part numbers

 HI all, I think I have found a thread relating to new parts for front suspension struts, but I’m not certain I have it (sourcing for Australia).
Its a 2006 2.7hdi. Right needs replacing, left not too far off.
Part# I got seem to have been superceded, sO
Right F 5271J0 now “/L8?
Left F 5271K3 now “/L7? (Left and right seem to have reversed in the new parts, we are RHD like UK of course)

Some sites suggest /L5 and /L6 also work, much cheaper, but I could use some guidance.

 The part numbers ending in L5 & L6 are for the 2.2HDi engined cars, without AMVAR variable damping, they won't work in your 2.7HDi.

The part numbers 5271L7 (left) and 5271L8 (right) are correct for your car.
Left and right are referenced from sitting in the driver's seat, therefore the same for LHD & RHD cars.

 Thanks hattershaun. I was puzzled about l and r only because the replacement for the l was given as r, and vice versa, but i assume itll be obvious which is which.
Any tips on suppliers? Hoping theres some change on Aud$900 per... not looking like it after shipping.
