Time for my "supercar" to go to a new home.

 Hi there, it’s time for my beloved and most magnificent C6 to go to a new home.

I have always had Citroens from a BX to various CX’s to even owning a Visa when I was a teenager (lovely maroon one, don’t laugh but I loved it).

So I bought my super silver C6 to be my forever car. I bought a solid example with a good history with the intention of getting her up to perfection and loving her forever.

Now however, the Chinese Bat Flu has taken an unbelievable toll on my business and I have to sell my pride and joy to try and keep my business afloat.

“Supercar” as I call her (there’s one for the over 50s amongst you) is a 2007 2.7 HDI Exclusive in silver with black leather, she has an MOT, full service history and has covered 93k (last service last year). The belts and pump were all done at 78k in 2017.

There’s no point in listing everything she has here as you guys know the spec, better if I tell you what she doesn’t have, no 10 disc auto-changer and no lounge pack.

I’ve spent £4.5k on her in the past six months getting her to mechanical perfection (I’ll pop a list at the bottom of this missive) and was about to start on the body but she just has to go now. She has three light scratches on the bumpers (the usual), I went to Citroen and they wanted my first born to fix them but “Chips Away” told me they would charge a couple of hundred quid.

I did have an advisory on the rear tyres on my last visit to the garage, no problem but they won’t last next year.

As far as I can tell everything works great inside, the only problem I’ve found is that when I import a CD into the hard drive it copies fine but then I have to turn the CD off and on again to get the CD out. I had looked into getting a new CD head unit for her but actually as I use my iPod most of the time didn’t really go into this in detail.

She received a full health check at Cedar Garage in Worthing and has a clean bill of health other than the tyres, I’ll include a pic of the health check document.

I love her to death but she has to go to keep my business going, so someone is going to get a great C6 and who knows, when the business is turned around, I’ve got a funny feeling I’ll be back here to buy another one.

OSF shock absorber and hydraulics
Thermostat housing
Rear Exhaust Gas Recirculation Solenoid (EGR Valve)
OSR Tyre valve
Replace all glow plugs
New lower suspension arms on both sides
Change automatic transmission fluid
2 new front tyres

Red with black leather, lounge pack, March 2007, 35k miles.
Both fully sorted with plenty of preventative maintenance & list of recent work, full service history.

 I'll jump on this band waggon

I'll have a 114k Red with black leather Lineage ready after Christmas. Loads of preventative works in the pipeline before it heads off to a new owner!

And mine will be cheaper than Shaun's

Hi, I've just started my search for a C6 and depending on where you are in Bedfordshire I'm not a million miles away (near Tring in Herts). The Silver one with folding rear seats could be right up my street.
