Interesting! The exhaust is made of stainless steel, isn't it?
How could there be holes in it?
Btw. I noticed that you have lifted the C6 not at the correct points at the front.
You shouldn't put the arms of your hydraulic lift there, it is only for the emergency on board jack.
The arm will (or has already) bend these positions.
The correct point is more inside...

I think it is not stainless steel it is very rusty

the truth those points were already doubled, but thanks for the information, I will try to straighten it

No not stainless I'm afraid. On the diesel C6 the exhaust does generally appear to have a long life span compared to cars from a previous era.

I had the impression because I have never read or heard about anyone replacing (or repairing) the exhaust. And there isn't anything available on the after-market...

Stainless or not, the C6 exhaust does appear to be very durable. My car has done 235,000 miles and the exhaust has never been touched - other than the heat shield over the back box which detached once and cost a couple of pounds to fix at the Citroën dealer.
