I have a French 2006 LHD 2.7 Exclusive, had it for just over a month. I have an intermittent problem with the gear selector not going into 'drive'. All the other positions, neutral etc, seem to be slightly out of position, towards the rear of the car, and they dont feel very positively engaged. Im wondering if its a worn linkage somewhere. Has anyone had a similar problem? I was going to try to remove the lever surround to have a look, but thought id ask here the best way to do it as i dont want to damage anything. Cheers.
