 Currently hunting for [one of] the above. The little 'O' ring (#5280.V7) that it backs-up is still available, but Citroen say the back-up ring is not.

Does anybody have one of these in a packet that they can spare, or have some dimensions (I'm guessing this is an industry-standard part from somewhere or other)?!

 Hi Mister from Melrose, pretty sure Citroen never followed industrial standards for their hydraulic connections, it was always bespoke.


Do you mind me asking if your original anti extrusion ring is lost or damaged?

 Hi Mister from Melrose again.

5280.V8 anti extrusion ring (45 degree scarf cut)

thickness in the axial direction is 1.3mm


outer diameter is 11mm


radial thickness is 1.3mm


No accuracy given on above as I've lost my good Vernier caliper, my faithful Mitutoyo!

 Howdy,


The original ring is [very slightly] abraded around one outer edge, although (once the new 'O' ring arrives) it may well still serve its purpose.

However... it does appear to be an ISO standard metric component (I mic'd it as well), and I have since obtained 10 from an company called "Claron Hydraulic Seals Ltd", who were very helpful indeed (once they realised I didn't want to buy 10000...!)

I will provide an update in due course.
