 Hello,
P0243 Turbo pressure regulation electrovalve 1 (rear) control fault: Mechanical problem.
The error occurs after a short driving time - the C6 then has little power and turns a maximum of 3000 rpm at idle.
There is no warning light - only loss of power.

When the car is turned off and restarted, the turbo power will work again for a few miles - then everything repeats itself.

Does anyone know this error / problem?
Which possibilities of repair are there?

Citroen only supplies a complete turbo with wastegate. And prohibits the wastegate from the turbocharger to separate, disassemble and release its attachment.

 I would buy a second hand unit from C5/C6/407/607/Jaguar S-type/Landrover if the price for new one is too much.

And I mean the whole turbo.

 check this thread - Click Here - . It's a known problem on early turbos (I've got one waiting to be fixed!).
