 Not for the C6 but I guess the principles will be similar. The wiring diagram I have for the airbags my Pug 206 runabout shows both the driver's and passenger airbag as having two wires each, while the reality is that each cable shown as a single cable actually has two separate cables.

This is not reflected in the diagram for the airbag ECU and I am at a loss to work this out. Any expalnation most welcome.

 PS. Found a solution to my query. Early models had a one shot airbag and one pair of wires; later models had dual charge bags -- hence two pairs of wires. Guess my diagram was for the earlier series.
