To save having to drag through the umpteen stages of using the Lexia I have also got, for simple jobs, an ICarsoft CP2 reader / reset machine. I was using it the other day after replacing an ABS sender and idly decided to see what it said about identifying the BSI unit. It promptkly came up with a couple of PSA numbers (9654425680 and 9661940180). Tried these on a well known auction site and there were numerous listings -- for a Pug 307. I have since looked at the label on the BSI and it has a completely different number (9661682680, plus 'BSM L-02-00') So - the question is -- is the code reader duff, or is the C6 BSI actually related to one from a 307, which will of course be a much more available item in the future ? Mike. |
