It's an hydraulic return hose, however return circuit on the C6 is also pressurized at 2-3 bar. Hydraulic fluid is very much oil like so rubber should be made for that.

From Citroën you have to buy the whole pipe from front to back of car.
You can replace the rubber hose section yourself, with jubilee clips to secure.

Hi Asaab,
Some people have fitted a small section of rubber fuel hose. It has a similiar internal diameter. I bought the replacement pipe and removed the bit I needed. No need to depressurise before fitting, as others stated it's a low pressure return pipe. It will leak a very small amount when you unclip it, so best have a rag or cloth underneath. The pipe I bought had one clip and I had to reuse the old clamp type clip for the other end. Very fast to replace when you have everything you need ready. Link to forum pictures here.

Jubilee clips are fine. The Citroën specialist, B.L.Autos, who look my cars, have repaired this pipe on 50-100 C6, with no failures. Virtually every C6 will need this sometime in its life.
