I have just found my number on the screen as mine has gone in two places.
MY part number is 96 493 929 and ZD-05 with 30A7 and 1027620-08 with a number circled 2056. I have been told I would have to have a new screen as this would be then coded to my car but if I could have mine repaired which is the way I would like to go but is having difficulty in finding in the UK a person or company to do this for me.So can anyone help as a brand new one is £1000? Plus to fit.
Please contact me if anyone can help.
My Citroen is a 2.7 TDI Exclusive auto 2009.

That number is a later one mainly used by Peugeot Systems and will limit your search.

PM me your Vin and I'll look up the correct Citroen One for you as you can get one from a C5 etc.

Your looking at one of those listed as (1) - there is one on ebay for £40 that may fit BTW

HI Thank you for coming back so soon my car VIN-VF7DUHZJ78012681
Engine-TRD10198846 REG-DJ02 MUD-2009.
Is there any way that I can take my car to any person with a screen to be coded to my car as I have been told by Citroen that only a new one can be coded is this correct or can I have a reconditioned one that would go in.
I really thank you for your help.
Kind Regards
Dave

OK your car was fitted with screen 6593 69 but that part number was replaced with 6593 Q6.

I have e mailed you a copy of the cars factory build spec.

Looking at the RPO it was actually built 19/02/2007 but wasn't registered until 01/09/2009 so like a lot of C6's out there, stood around a long time.

As you live in Suffolk, Dan at Wolsey House Motors maybe the nearest CIT Independent near you with C6 experience

The SCREEN has no car code.

You can change to a High Resolution screen eg from a 407 Coupe model with some minor mechanical modifications (cutting ears off).

Then you have to use MIRASCRIPT to change to Hi-Res and put the picture upside down.

And if you're not up for I have a 07 spares cars I'm starting to break which should have a screen to donate in exchange for some tokens to add to the C6 restoration fund!

Get in touch if you want to discuss.

Hi
Yes, I would be very interested in the screen if you are breaking up a 07 car thank-you.
I understand this would fit mine and would I have to have it coded to my car.
Thankyou
If so do you know of anyone who would do this I don t mind travelling

Think you misread the previous post from AndreSMCXXMC6, it shouldn't need coding to the car.

Ahh just checked and the spares car is an 06!

Dave-Retired, would you be so kind as to check your database to confirm the one from VF7TDUHZJ78004498 will be compatible?

Checked as requested and that car has an RT3 system with a different screen number completely to that previously posted.

Thanks Dave, I suspected that would be the case when I realised it was older than I thought. A bit like me then
