Among my dumber actions as a new C6 owner a year or two back was to take a large screwdriver to the rear seat lock barrels of my car, which I NOW KNOW actually cleverly match the shape of the ignition key (and are not just standard slots). Duh! Anyway I now have the minor irritation of the back seats flopping forward occasionally (though usually only if a heavy item in the boot). Spares seem to be unobtainable (esp. with the problem of matching to key), any ideas?

The lock seems to be separately available, part no. 8224A1 as are other parts of the mechanism and since the program indicates to give your VIN before ordering, the lock can be made to match the key. The cost should be around 30 euros. The locking mechanism with part no 8957NG or NJ itself costs around 70 euros plus shipping.
