Door hinge electrical connectors

 How do I undo these connectors? It's not intuitively or blindingly obvious to me.

The light-grey bit seems to be what clamps the male and female parts of the connector together and needs to be released. Er, but how, exactly????

The 'serrated' lower part of the light-grey bit is hanging loose - the plastic has been over-stretched and fractured in the past... evidently you don't just pull on that!

 Slide the grey clip upward whilst parting the connectors. You may need to tease the clip to start it, prising the top-&-centre tag up a little, first.
