Hi guys. Has anybody found solution for sickness described in title ? AFAIK it is common problem.
1. Engine off
2. Door closed and locked with remote.
3. After 10-15 minutes FRONT of the car is raising up very slowly for 1-2 cm / ~1 inch (impossible to notice movement) without hydraulic pump action.
4. You click unlock button on remote, then in 2 seconds it goes down back to normal position.
Sometimes problem doesn`t appear. But usually it appears and car looks just bad parked with raised front.
Any solutions ?

I think it's meant to do that. My memory's a bit hazy but my old C5 used to do that too.

Hi, surely you mean old C5 not C6?

Our C5 Estate used to amuse people in the supermarket carpark every once in a while by giving an impromptu dance whilst we were gone!

"Digital" error on my part. Yes, I was talking about C5 (original post now edited to read correctly)

"Dancing" C5 is something different. They were dancing with hydraulic pump action what means it was height sensor fault or electrical malfunction. In C6 it happens when everything is OFF, in very, very slow motion. I truly doubt it`s meant to do that.

I'm pretty sure a C5 does that with everything off as well - both are Hydractive 3+, and it's just self leveling so I don't think it indicates a problem. If it is an issue, my car is buggered too.

My C6 does the same and there are more threads discussing this issue. Apparently is normal.

I believe other C6 do the same, but i can`t agree it is normal. If you consider that main task of self-leveling suspension is keeping the car in the same, assigned position all the time - then situation when you click button on remote and car sinks down to assigned position is not correct working of suspension. Is it ?

I have experienced the opposite as well, car sinking at the front. At my garage I have a parking spot that is leveled and other where I wash the car that has a slight inclination to aid with water running down the drain.

If I park at the leveled spot the car usually keeps itself leveled or goes down a little both at the front and at the back.

If I park in the inclined spot with the front of the car on the lowest area the car will rise at the front and actually looks leveled.

When I unlock the car it lowers and raises again when I turn the key.
