I think the battery on the 2.7 could do with replacing but the first quote i had at my local tyre/battery/exhaust centre was £380. Is that typical? Sounds a lot to me. Anyone know a good one at a decent price? |

Citroen main dealers have a special price for supplying and fitting a new battery, £110 near me. If you shop around you can get a battery for a bit less, then fit it yourself, but much of the boot trim needs to be removed, so time consuming. |

In Auckland, New Zealand I replaced my battery when replacing my starter motor that failed. The battery still seemed to be fine but I thought I may as well as I didn't know how old the battery was. It turned out that it was still the original so it would have been 8 to 9 years old by then and approx 145,000kms. Not bad for a battery that has to work pretty hard in the C6. I dare say if our climate got colder the battery may not last as long. | ||
