 Hello I once again need some advice. I recently purchased a 2009 (built 2007). A message Anti pollution fault. Then message repair required. Yellow engine light now remains on. I went in to a mother factor who said there systems were 1,500 pound. Citroen Southampton (Not very helpfull) said they would have to do an analysis which could take some hours. Someone said Halfords offered a cleaning service of the pollution filter. I have done a couple of duel csrrigesy journeys at 70 mph in the hope the filter would regenerate but no luck. Someone has said if you have analyser you can instruct the filter to regenerate and then reset the engine light. One fellow member refers to purchase in China. It shows two pcb and another hand unit. Do these need to be installed into a lap top or can you buy one dedicated unit? I have also read about topping up this unit. Would be grateful for some description and advice. Who would own a C6 without the goodwill of this forum? Thanks GJ59DYÙ.

 First of all you should steer clear of the "stealer" and look for a Independent Citroen specialist nearby.
There's no point in guessing what's wrong and throwing parts at it. Get the error codes and work from there.
If you can, buy your own Lexia unit. The ones from China seem okay (at least mine is). Load the software on to an old laptop running XP or perhaps someone on this forum with one lives close by and can help?
The pictures showing the PCB are for "effect" and show what's inside the grey module. There's a few UK sellers with kit around the £50 mark if you don't like to idea of waiting for a one from China. If you don't have a suitable Laptop you should be able to pick one up for around £100.
