Hi, I have removed the 2 nuts to the inner wing but it won't move as if there is something holding it underneath, I need to move it to look at a problem with my offside main beam not working? , thanks for any advice. Colin

Hi Colin,
You don't want to remove the bumper? If you want to check your headlight unit out it's best to remove the lights completely and put them up on a bench for a good check over. Removing the bumper isn't really difficult. You just need a hand for a few seconds to remove it away from the bodywork, and the same for putting it back on after.

I´m with Dave. The bumper removal is really an easy job. There is a guide in the technical documents section also. Have done it myself and alone. I don´t see how the coolant expansion tank removal helps to get to the headlight anyway because the LDS tank is also in the way and even more so.

Hi Dave and Vaho, thanks for your advice, I made a mistake , I was talking about the LDS tank not water expansion tank, sorry, I removed LDS tank but did not help me with my main beam light problem, I could see there is a thin wire not connected in headlight but I couldn't get access to solder it ?, and I'm not able to take bumper off because I have had a major stroke !,so booked it in a citroen specialist for 25/5/17 they are going to try repair the light/wire ?, which I hope works because they are saying the last headlight they bought was £900 +tax +labour, anyway I have recovered from my heart attack now of having the MOT main beam failure , maybe it will happen again when they give me the bill for the repair job
