 Well my front spheres failed when the car was 4 years old, so not sure about longevity. This might have been caused by the car sitting unused, for almost a year between manufacture and sale/registration.

I changed out the rear spheres when the car was 9 years old (from date of manufacture) and this improved a lot of things. My mileage is very low for its age, indicating that sphere deterioration is really not related to mileage just age.
