Well done for organising Steve.
I'll be there, staying over Friday & Saturday evenings to make a weekend away.

Any Vehicle pre 1990 gets reduced Museum entry on Sunday Steve. It's an event that is usually well attended with a wide mix of cars.

Some of are driving up on Friday, we are meeting up at Forton Services (northbound side) about 10am before heading further north to tackle the Hardknott pass......

Anybody is welcome to join us, at either the pass or on the way north. We will be meeting outside Fell Foot Farm which is the start of the pass at about 2pm, if anybody wants to join us - Click Here -

For those of you who want to keep your Car looking tip top during the weekend, there is a hand car wash just 10 minutes from the Lakeland Motor Museum in Ulverston. It's called Top Shine car wash and it's post code is LA12 9AU.

I'm just going to (yawn) pootle along the route that the Satnav takes me and during the wee, small hours of Saturday, aiming to attain 55+mpg...

The weather was kind after we arrived and it stayed dry whilst 7 C6's, 2 C5's, 1 Xantia, 1 2CV, 3 DS and 1 GSA turned up on Saturday and here are a couple of pictures.

DS versus my C6, notice the similar profiles?

Then the Cannon3000 run turned up (noisy lot) for a coffee break.

Then some nice classics arrived after the 'Supercars' literally roared away, Rover P5 Club, much more quiet and refined

Pipe and Slippers time, e3steve's 3.0 HDi next to a rather nice P5 4 door coupe

Oh and Simon Farmers C6 was declared 'problem free' after David Hallworth gave it the once over with Lexia

My Dad had a P5B and with a little help from the motor sports bins in USA it left a new XJ12 - Motorsport mag ran an XJ12 at 141 on the clock, in its wake when asked of it. The performance P5B click it's heels and left it for dust. I was driving at the time with Dad riding shotgun.... Great cars loved ours to bits The engine was superb. Would love to own one even today in our troubled motoring times.....

Downside of the P5B is the 16-18mpg and people complain about the C6.....
