I've had my 2007 2.7 C6 for a week now and the "engine depollution fault" warning has been coming and going. This morning it's on and the car is limping along. Struggling to get over 30 and gutless in getting there. I'll get the fault codes read as soon as I can but any ideas in the meantime?

Went back to the car an hour later and the fault had cleared. The fault log has gone too. Will that mean the fault code reader won't pick up the history?

The faults will remain stored on the ECU until you read and then erase the faults with Lexia/Diagbox or a compatible fault code reader. Best regards, Phil C. |

Many faults will clear and extiguish the EML after the third re-start of the engine. They still remain stored in the ECU, though, until cleared via Lexia/Diagbox (as Phil has stated). |
