Many will be concerned by news that a 'diesel scrappage' scheme is apparently being drawn up, another big scam to enrich the auto industry, breakers, etc. Also in London, the mayor has announced the congestion charge will more than double for 'older diesels' (non Euro 4) and London boroughs will probably take this as a cue to hike parking permits. Anyone know any more about this? Does the owner of any diesel with emissions the wrong side of 200 need to worry?

All C6 in the UK are at least Euro 4.
The 3.0HDi cars are Euro 5.
2.2HDi was available as Euro 4 and then Euro 5, but I don't know if any actually came to the UK.

200 what units?

Is this a CO2 measure? Does that have anything to do with Nox emmissions?

G,

I presume its the 230g/km for CO2 for the 2.7. The 3.0litre diesel is 195g/km.

Best regards,

Phil C.
