Remounting rear view mirror?

 My mechanic whilst completing some gymnastics inside my car - climbing into the drivers seat from the passenger seat whilst the drivers door couldn't be opened - has managed to knock the rear view mirror off.

Has anyone needed to remount one of these before? I presume this is required when the windscreen is replaced?

Are there any instructions or helpful suggestions?

 Fraser: Is this really your problem to fix, or the mechanics?

 Hi Ken

No not my problem. But my Citroen mechanic is also my friend.

Interestingly Citroen NZ apparently had three starter motors for my C6 on the shelf.

 Wow - That sounds better than a 3-4 week wait for parts from France. Maybe it is a part in common with another, potentially more popular vehicle - a C5 perhaps? Anyway that is great news Fraser.
