Why are UK cars going for so much less?

It's the same story with the Avantime. It appears most car buyers here in the UK just won't take the gamble with big, complex French machinery unless it's dirt cheap.

 Check the "almost New" C6 3,0 Hdi in Berlin: EUR 125 000 !!!!! C6 seem to be both cheap and expensive at the same time.

 I turned down a new/secondhand 3.0Hdi at the dealer's in St Sever de Calvados, at e32 000, in 2013. Well, the wheel was on the wrong side!
