 Hi all, just thought I'd say hello as I've had my Deep Red 2007 Exclusive 2.7 (lounge pack) for a week now and this forum has already saved me money! I purchased the car unseen and had it delivered by the dealer the 150 miles or so to Wales. I've spent a couple of hours fettling her and now I'm pleased I took the gamble, spurred on my meeting a member from here! I've sorted a permanently beeping front parking sensor for free after reading a post on here, somebody had painted it THICKLY and after a bit of a rub down all is well! I've also just started to remove the window tinting that has been applied at some point, not to my taste, especially the curved rear screen that is arguably the cars best feature...... A new key is on order and then I've only the wheels and tyres to sort and she should be A1.
Thanks for the help so far, fingers crossed I won't need too much more........

 Hi, welcome! I think I've seen that car for sale before, Red with extreme tints can't be common? Glad you're removing the tints. I'm often working in Cardiff/Swansea so if you see a (usually dirty..) black C6 around give me a parp parp

 Yep, along! You've been bitten by the C6 vampire; there's no escape now...

I, too, think I may know of that car. I think it was one that was on eBay, back in late 2012/early 2013. Very dark tint to the rear glasses! I contacted the seller to see if he'd have the film removed within his asking price (as I'm neither a drug dealer nor a wannabe footballer). He declined.

The car was for sale for around £7k then, I seem to recall.

 Yeah, my thoughts on tints are much the same, to be fair they're coming off a treat! Looks so much better. Price wise I paid about half that'll.....

I can be found at my chip shop most days if you need anything. Youngers Fish Bar on Caerphilly road.

 I quite like the idea of black tints to black car...
BTW I purchased mine from Wales so it looks like you've lost one from the area and replaced it with another ☺

You go away for a long time and suddenly I find numerous other C6's in Wales!
After all this time I thought that I was the only one.

I used to see a black one on my visits to the dealers in Newport but that, apparently, was sold by its owner a while ago.

My old log in no longer works (Extant) so an upgrade has been required.
