Informative, Steve; thank you.

However, for those of us with the lemon-esque Magnetti-Marelli RT3, we should save our money and do what I've discovered to be the best European solution by a country mile: a Smartphone and Google Maps!

Takes us 'to the door' to the out-laws gaff (Les Guiboefs, 03370, France) every time. Choice of routes too.

RT3 is nothing short of utterly useless! I have 2013 Navteq European maps and, Paris notwithstanding, virtually everywhere in France shows up as "UNMAPPED AREA".

I can't discredit Navteq enough. In the damned bin with CKI and their [%*^#@!]' claims handlers...
