Thanks for the quick replys, there is no sign of a judder but will look closer tomorrow and have a look at the linkages to see if I can find play anywhere, does anyone know if the motors are interchangeable and it's just the wiring which determines which is the master/slave.

Norman they have different part numbers so doubt they are interchangeable.

Just had a look in the technical documents section and found a wiper parts list with pictures I will investigate further.

Had a closer look this afternoon and it looks like the passenger side wiper linkage is very sloppy if you get hold of the wiper arm and move it the drivers side has no movement in it unlike the passenger side which has a lot of slop in it, if you put the wipers into Maintainence mode the excess movement is obvious.
How difficult is it to remove the trim to gain access to check the movement for wear and removal.
Could someone else do the check on their car for me to compare movements.

Has anyone had chance to check their wiper movement so I can verify if it's wrong or not.

Thanks.

When 'parked', mine are locked solid, Norman. From the maintenance position they can be moved by hand, but not from the normal (OFF) position.

Mine can be "adjusted" by force in the maintenance position. No excessive play

Regarding the 'using Citroen wipers' theme':

My C6 had very annoying wiper judder in most rain conditions.

Through 'Dealer 1'', I had a set of new C6 blades delivered for £35.20

These come as the same blade left and right - there are no longer different part numbers for each side.

They were easy to fit, and have solved the problem. No more judder.

There may be some cheaper alternatives, but £35 delivered for the Citroen parts seems to be a good price.

I'd say that images 1 & 2 above have their descriptors transposed...

That is a good deal indeed.

I would probably still have taken the route I took since it isn't worth me travelling to Citroen dealer for £5 saving, but if people are passing by it would make sense.
