Hi! I've scoured the website to try and find out the best way to take a 2.7l diesel engine out as part of an engine swap; however, I've not found owt! Does anyone know the best way - is it best to drop it; lift it, or take it out the front, having removed the front bumper assembly? If anyone has any technical PDFs or anything I can download, I'd be much obliged. Having had quotes of over £2k to do an engine swap, on top of having to buy a new engine, it's all becoming silly money, so have enlisted the help of a few masochistic petrol-heads with a view to doing it ourselves - so any help, advice etc, will be much appreciated. Ta muchly ................... |

No one has asked for those docs as they have left the work to others..... Basically it's on a sub frame and the engine and gearbox have to come out as one, from the bottom. What you need is now online: - Click Here - Good luck as your friends 'Beer Bill' won't be small |
