The audi has just clocked 205K. 5K ago was a dashboard watching moment.

When I broke one of my Xms a few years back the odo has stopped at 262K and had been that way for about 50K of my ownership. Stripping out the dash you could see the Odo had been fiddled with so it could have been a 400K car.

It took some planning. It had to reset the odometer at 122667 but when i did, it didn't quite zero. I had to give it another light press to get the tenths to zero and i was not at all sure if the thing would read right.

As i was driving back from tesco's i had to avoid busy roads so i could stop for the money shot.
