 Apparently I need one . . or so the garage say . . . .£800 or thereabouts from Citroen. Anyone any ideas where I could source one cheaper?

But, what is wrong with the actuator?

Remember that Citroen Dealers will only replace, not remove and repair items and it could be something minor.
