The guys over at my shop completely disregarded VDO's recommendations and fitted the 2 old sensors using the same nuts and washers... Cheerios, Sam |

Perhaps I am paranoid, but I have seen (too) many people complaining about loss of tyre presure on TPMS equipped alloy wheels. This is what you get in the Ford Galaxy TPMS service kit: |

Pressure loss is caused by corroded valve shafts (mostly) - I've never heard of a single case of washer or nut failure - of course these might also fail during the mounting on/taking off the alloy, but that's a whole different story Sam |

@ dinozaurul the kit for the Citroen sensors is just the same but does include the valve stem. Well at least the one I have in the car has. |
