Hello everybody,

I have a new 2.7 V6 HDI motor in my citroen C6 and have to programm the new injectors in de ECU with Lexia 3.
For some reason I get the message "Invalid format" filling in a the injector code.

Now my question:

On the injector I have next information:

5U3Q-9K546-AA
G1UHF
FE08
31823

The output of the dot matrix image is: FE08 318235U3AA

In Lexia I have 10-digits to fill in. Does anybody know the right coding?

I hope you can help me.

Best.
Eric

Hi the FE08 31823 looks like a hexadecimal code in which case convert to decimal and enter that number into Lexia.

Just a guess but the same is required for the Tyre Pressure Sensors

Many thanks for your replies.

The FE08 part is already decimal, because the old motor has for the same part HC08 and IC24 as codes. Hex values goes from 0 to F.

The input in Lexia is hex I suppose. When using the "-" or "+" buttons for changing the digits options to choose are 0..9 and A..F.

There has to be a trick, but what....

FE08318235 is 10 Hexadecimal digits. Is it this simple?

Hello,
I have same issue, I changed the engine 2.7 UHZ, and now HDI system runs with old engine setup. Injectors were not coded. Idle OK, but roughly sound cames in around 1500-2000rpm, so it is not good like this. I heard this engine running before, in the donor car, it sounds like new.
I have codes and postion, but I did not get where can I change this?
In "repair" I found only EGR learning.
Codes are eg FI05 318635U3AA
I guess code will be FI05318635 it depends how many digits
I need fire oreder as well...
THX in advance

"I" is not a hexadecimal code.It must be A B C D E F ( 10 11 12 13 14 15 )

Yes, you are right, but that is printed on the top. I am confused now...
Googled on the partnumber and this is not unique issue, many injectors have non-hexa characters in the coding label.

I went to local official Citroen Service, and after two hours of debugging they said there is no coding option in this engine type. In "repair" block you can code only EGR and may be new solenoid for something, but injectors can not. They said that I can mix the injectors, it is irrelevant in coding point of view. So I give up this issue.

There seems to be different possibilities depending on which tool you are using, with Diabox ver 07,57 I only has the above options, so no injector coding.

Ver 07.57 identify the injector ECU as "SID201".

If I stay at the first version installed from CD, Diabox ver 07.02 I have more options, but in overwiev the injector ECU is unknown.

I can choose ME747, SID201, EDCXXX, EDCYYY, last 2 are 4 cyl, so not applicable for me, SID201 has same limitations as above, but ME747 has a possibility to reinitialise ECU, when injectore, accelerator, throttle motor is replaced, it's a 4 step procedure including starting/stopping the engine and a short drive, engine has to be operating temp before start.

And last I can choose Lexia3 where codes can be inserted for each injector.

First question is how do I find out which injector ECU I have?

If I have SID201 as Diabox ver. 07.57 suggest, will it have any effect to do the ME747 procedure, or use Lexia3?

And what is the ideal corrective value for an injector when measured with Diabox?

I have changed injector 5 and 6, and it seems to have removed much of the hesitation between 1500-2000 rpm starting exactely when engine reach operating temp, and outside temp are below 20 deg. C, (a quite annoying problem I'm struggling with.) but engine have some vibrations when reving.

Interresting, if you buy injectors at PF Jones, injectors for 2.7 Don't need coding, but 3.0 does!
