I think I started to like Citroens when my uncle bought and restored one (I was 10 ?), It was an 11 Sport. You are now the owner of the first and the last (ever ? ) of the legandary history-making Citroens. Good luck with the project and keep us informed !

Depreciation, Dave, as we discussed at the ICCCR! I can spend £3000 a year on the Light 15's or the DS's and still not get to the C6 depreciation amount.

Not that I do, however...

The car is back from the paint shop and what a job 'Jason' and his team at 'Painted to Perfection' have done.

Repair the dings and splits etc, prime, rub down, prime, rub down, paint in black then bake at 75 degrees, flatten the paint with 2000 grit, machine polish twice with 3M Fast Cut and finally wax with Turtle Wax Colour Magic 'Black'

The car is now very black and very shiny - Click Here - and scroll down the page.

I was trying to get the interior finished by tomorrow night, but the weather has held me up as the garage isn't wide enough and some things require the car to have the doors fully open so needs to be outside and it keeps on raining

Oh and Tim, I have spent circa £2,800 so far getting the car to where it is now. But the electrics need sorting out.....

Nah, Dave, you won't win Car of the Year at the TOC rally in June! There is a certain 1939 Sloúgh built green roadster which will....(not mine, it's blue)

Well £3,000 + 80 hours or so personal labour later and the car is finished, apart from a few light bulbs to change.

Dave,

Looks fantastic! You've given me the boost to finish the clutch and brakes on mine and get her back on the road. Many happy miles!

Regards,

Phil C.

That looks briliant Dave.

The gearbox behind the grille looks slightly odd

Chrome Bibendum nice touch.

So what colour should the gearbox be? My choice would be black, so it wasn't so Bentley Blowerish. But still very nice
