The other day i got a warning in my citroen c6 3,0 hdi 2012 the yellow Engine warning light litt up and a warning on the display came up (engine need repar) in the alert log the text was engine managment system faulty. What could it mean? Do not have a diagnostic tool in order yet.a bit worried ! Visit a citroner garage? Or is there somethings i could look at that are easy fixes? |

Are you not under warranty in a 2012 model?

Well it's going to need the onboard fault log read to see what may be causing the issue.

Hey there @allingkalling, On a 2012 built car the Warranty should be there, regardless if imported or not, but in the unlikely event that tere's no Citroen Sweden, no official Citroen Dealer in Sweden and no Authorised Citroen Service Repair Shop in Sweden, then you may have to take it to an authorised Citroen Repair Shop in Denmark, or Germany Worst case scenario: your car has the Standard 2 Year Manufacturer Warranty, which means that it may be coming to an end soon, so it may be worth your while to do a road trip to your closest Citroen Authorised Repair Shop and fix anything that may be wrong with your car. Best case scenario, the car has the 3 or 4 Year of Extended Warranty, in which case, you're set for a lil' while. Good luck sorting it out. Regards, Sammy |

Today the Citroën garage in Kiruna changed out the faulty (pvc)valve/airdistributor. It was taken care by the warranty. Nice job. So no more beep and warning light, feels great.
