Not a strong vibration, but there. And only really lasts between about 87 and 90 mph - so not an issue that's going to be a significant practical problem.

Will it be a wheel balance problem? Or is this kind of thing a tracking or suspension bush issue on the C6?

Thanks,

Simon

Check for ware on the inside shoulders.

Thanks for your replies.

The front tyres are different makes - a one year old Goodyear and a new Primewell (not my choice - I bought the car last week with this set up).

If dirt or inside shoulder wear might be an issue it sounds as if I should get that checked - and change over to a matching set of front tyres.

Best,

Simon

Every time I've had speed related vibrations it's been tyre wear, usually on the inside shoulders. I know it seems obvious to say, but they really are wide tyres on the C6 and you have to get right in there to see properly! You might be surprised how gone they are.

Or could be FRIPs (front top & bottom swivels).....

Turn the steering hard-over and check for rust stains emanating from the bottom swivel each side.
