C6 PARAMETERS which could be changed

 2 funny functions is:

Presence of the welcome function for the driver == driver seat goes back if ignition is off and you opens the door and back to position when ignition is turned om again, guess the steering wheel also goes upward if electric handled.

BMW has this activated on the US market.

Presence of the welcome function for rear passengers == backseat goes fully back when the passenger door opens, but there is no memory function here so it will not return to original position ( applies to Lounge)

 So, quick question here - are you sayin' that through Lexia I could activate the Welcome function for the driver seat?!?

You see, the reason I ask is because, here in Romania parking spaces are not intended for bigger cars such as the C6 which barely fits in the largest of supermarket parking spaces, so the presence and activation of the welcome function would allow for better access in and out of the car with the doors open to the first nudge

 Se in the cars own menu (no Lexia needed) Under "access".In mine I can able/disable the steering wheel retraction when seating from there.

 @TJensen: Could you please indicate the whole path to that menu, but I'm sure I have looked and I haven't seen that setting... There are some greyed out settings - settings that I cannot access... Is it possible that it's been disabled and can be re-enabled via Lexia (just like the DRL option for non-German C6s)?!?

 If they are 'greyed Out' it means they aren't active and yes you would need to enable the function (if available) via Lexia

 @Dave: I went to my local service shop and they even let me take a look around Lexia and I just couldn't find the section where to enable this... We did switch Presence of the welcome function for the driver from No to Yes, butbthat didn't do anything really...

 I'm pretty sure the 'welcome function' on the C6 only operates the powered steering wheel movement and not the seat. On the C5 it does move the seat where fitted.

That's all it does for me but, if you have 'memory' seats (Exclusives mainly unless you have a Lignage with full leather) you can push the seat back before leaving the car and simply press the memory when getting back in to move it forward

 Sorry, I have no Lexia competence yet (bought the stuff, but....) My garage used a lot of time to search for the sub-sub menu wakening up the daylight running lamps, found 2 options and chose the wrong one. But it is there and will work. If headlights are not turned on automaticly they will start, with or without sidelight/parking lights.

And yes: the option for access is just moving steering wheel out of the way until "ignition" is on.

 Had the welcome function for the driver/driver seat activated for i while.But I
turned it off ( like to have the seat in the same position, going in and out).
I have the Lounge model, could be a factor.

 Is it possible to make the cruise control stay on, ie ready for setting not at a speed obviously ? rather than having to press the button to activate it, which is still on my car unpredictable and needs the steering wheel tango some times, though even that doesn't always work. If iot came on as standard with ignition, my Volvo C70 would do that

 There is one interesting option "coolant level sensor option". Does that mean you can retrofit a coolant level sensor?
I had the notorious coolant tube failing two months ago and would have appreciated an earlier warning.
