Hi
You'll have to configure the resolution output on your RT4 to accept the high resolution screen.

As I see, the displays also have some firmware. Does this matter when changing it?

I do know the 407 version fits with a minor modification in the C6 housing.
I am not sure about the C5 III version.

You have to change the settings with MIRASCRIPT for the Hi-RES font and the display as the 407 display is upside down.

I see that it is easier to fins RNEG or RNEG2 displays. As i see on the pictures they also use the same type of cable to connect to the main unit. I'm wondering if they are compatible also with RT4/5...

Hello Andre, is this a photo of the HR display? The part numbers and the numbers on the back are completely irrelevant and this makes it difficult to trace it second hand.
Thanks,
Vladimir

All C6 have a Low-Res display. You can replace it with a Hi-Res display
from eg a late 2009 Peugeot 407 Hi-Res diaplay (you have to cut the "ears"
off to make them fit)

Hi drunvlado, The 96-beginning number ends with 580 i believe if its hi-res screen and it also says MMF-DEVHR.

Yes that is a High Res display. You have to cut off the "ears"to adapt to the C6 housing. You need MIRASCRIPT to change the setting to Hi-Res and reverse the screen.

I still haven't started my retro fit of a new screen and RT5 to my 2.7 C6.
I'm actually nervous I think of screwing with the nice all in one piece dash.
I think I'll need some more dash photos and a bit more reading before I'll be ok to open the dash up. If anyone has anymore detailed photos of where clips and screws are placed that would be great.

Thanks for the photos. I noticed the plastic clips have metal clips on the ends(sort of spring loaded) hadn't noticed before.

Hello;

Someone before mentioned that C4 Picasso display should work. Have anyone tried it? They are much easier to get than late 407 display. I've noticed that all displays for C4GP are made by Continental, so, I guess, came from cars equipped with RNEG.
I've found elsewhere that RNEG and RT4/5 displays are using the same interface and are compatibile. Is that true?
