Hi, hope that some one can give me some ideas how to improve the sound when on the hands free in the car. I can hear the other person on the line, loud and clear. How ever is it difficult for the other person to hear what I am saying. The microphone pics ups a lot sorrounding noice. Can the situation be improved? BR Stefan |

Strange, I don't have that problem. Mine operates almost perfectly. Although I'd prefer a Bluetooth connection, the built in phone provides far better clarity than the system in my 2006 E350 did. Could you microphone be covered in dust or something? I believe it's positioned in the centre of the central door light, between the two map lights and perimetric sensors. My only criticism of audio quality is that getting the volume just right can be strangely challenging sometimes. However, I'm not sure if this is related to the quality of the phone that your caller is calling you from. |
