I just drove to Reading and back (there on the A4, M4 on the way back) I've been away for a week so I have been driving other cars here and there. I turned off the music and just listened to the smooth thrum of the V6. Comfortable, quick, quiet, smooth... And not a rattle anywhere. I love my C6 That is all |

mine as well My son was up from Kent and couldn't believe how quiet and smooth it was and wouldn't believe it was a diesel from inside the cabin |

If money was no object I would not be driving a 5 or 6. In fact I wouldn't be driving a Citroen

404 miles in the 6 at the weekend, 37mpg (not that I'm too fussed about fuel consumption I have to say) and just a beautiful drive!

Gobxoy wrote ... 1 Money no object chauffeur and a New Ghost The Ghost has been described as being only of interest to those people who can't quite afford a Phantom. "Money no object" surely, therefore, means a Phantom. For me, both are bricks on wheels compared with the elegance of the Bentleys, although the Phantom has significantly more 'presence' than its cheapjack stable-mate. "Money no object" for me would be the Bentley Continental Flying Star, a special body by Touring Superleggera. Google for it and sigh! - Click Here - |

I like my C6 but have to say it does sound like a diesel when in the cabin, when cold it sounds like a Tank. It does smoothe out and get much quieter at around 75 - 80 mph I used to have to hit the gas pedal in my Omega to make sure the engine was running when at a standstill, not so in the C6. |

Really? Mine's pretty quiet and I love the sound of the engine under throttle.

Money no object for me would mean only 2 cars - Tesla Model S & the new Fisker Surf... Going back to the C6, I agree, it's not quiet, it's controlled. And yes, I also looove the engine sound under throttle... Doesn't sound like a tractor (which most German diesels do) Cheers, Sam |
